The American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) has welcomed more than 1,600 U.S.-based travel advisors and suppliers to Vienna for the sold-out 2025 ASTA River Cruise Expo. Now in its fourth year, the event has become a premier gathering for travel professionals seeking in-depth insights into the growing river cruise market.
Advisors and Suppliers Meet in Vienna
Since its inception in 2022, the ASTA River Cruise Expo has seen significant growth, expanding from 678 attendees and seven ships to more than 1,600 attendees and 16 participating ships representing 10 leading river cruise brands. This surge underscores the increasing popularity of river cruising and highlights the role of travel advisors in driving industry demand.
Throughout the event, held March 12-16, attendees will engage with top executives and sales leaders from major river cruise brands, explore the latest innovations and connect with more than 100 exhibitors during the trade show. The Expo also offers a unique opportunity for travel advisors to stay aboard participating ships, attend educational sessions, take part in curated excursions and experience the onboard culinary offerings.
