Celebrate the Power of Play at LEGOLAND’s First (Global) LEGO Festival

LEGO Festival is a global event for kids to celebrate the power of play.

Families around the world are invited to celebrate the power of play, creativity and imagination for the inaugural LEGO Festival, coming to seven LEGOLAND Resorts worldwide this year.

The festival—a collaboration between the LEGO Group and Merlin Entertainments—will bring play to life on an grand scale, offering immersive experiences and inspiring young builders to unleash their creativity.

Play All Day

Kicking off on May 3, 2025, and running every weekend through World Play Day on June 11, the LEGO Festival will take over LEGOLAND Billund, LEGOLAND California, LEGOLAND Deutschland, LEGOLAND Florida, LEGOLAND Korea, LEGOLAND New York and LEGOLAND Windsor.

Designed to be a child’s first festival experience, the event will feature five interactive zones encouraging families to explore music, creativity, dance, gaming and relaxation—all while surrounded by larger-than-life LEGO models.

“With LEGO Festival, we’ve created the ultimate way to discover and experience the power of creative play with the hopes of sparking imaginations, social connection, self-expression and learning,” said Fiona Eastwood, CEO of Merlin Entertainments, in a press statement. “LEGOLAND Resorts have always been a ‘child’s first’ theme park—who better to deliver their first festival experience?”

Children will receive special festival lanyards as they embark on an adventure through the five interactive zones. The experience culminates with the Play Pact, a promise made by children to build more, laugh louder, explore endlessly and always keep playing. For every Play Pact made, Merlin Entertainments and the LEGO Group will arrange for underserved children and their families to enjoy playtime at a LEGOLAND Resort.
