Crystal Cruises has unveiled Treasures Of The Tides, its largest World Cruise offering to date, opening for public reservations May 29, 2025. Travel advisors can secure space on the 150-night voyage aboard Crystal Symphony, departing Fort Lauderdale Jan. 11, 2028, and returning June 10, 2028. The sailing makes calls at 84 ports in 39 countries across six continents, with an option for guests to disembark in Barcelona on May 27.

“At Crystal, we create journeys that go beyond the itinerary,” said Mario Parodi, VP of Itinerary Planning for Crystal in a press statement. “Treasures of the Tides is a celebration of cultural discovery and marks the first time Crystal Symphony will lead a World Cruise in more than five years. With new destinations like Huahine, Mangalore and Portland alongside iconic global ports, this sailing offers guests the opportunity to explore the world in a way that is intentional and deeply rewarding.”

Crystal’s 2028 World Cruise

Throughout the itinerary, ports follow a logical progression that aids advisors in crafting seamless client experiences. In January, the ship visits Cozumel, Belize, Roatan and Cartagena before transiting the Panama Canal and cruising south along the Pacific coast of South America. February brings French Polynesia with calls at Papeete, Moorea, Raiatea and Bora Bora, followed by visits to Pago Pago, Fiji’s coastal towns, Vanuatu and New Caledonia.

March routes guests to New Zealand’s vineyard regions and port cities, then along Australia’s southern shoreline—Portland, Kangaroo Island, Albany and Geraldton make their inaugural appearances on a Crystal World Cruise. From there, the voyage continues to Bali’s temples, Boracay’s beaches and Sandakan in Borneo. April focuses on Southeast and South Asia: Ho Chi Minh City, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Phuket, the Andaman Islands, Sri Lanka’s coastline and an overnight in Mumbai.

In May, the itinerary navigates the Arabian Peninsula and Red Sea, calling at Muscat, Oman; Aqaba for Petra; Safaga for Luxor’s temples; and transiting the Suez Canal into the Mediterranean. Advisors can suggest client explorations of Crete, Sicily, Malta, Tunisia and key Italian and Spanish ports. The final leg in June crosses the Atlantic with stops in the Azores and Bermuda before returning to Fort Lauderdale.

World Cruise guests receive comprehensive benefits designed to simplify logistics and enhance the onboard experience. Advisors can market a business-class airfare credit or allowance, $1,500 As You Wish shipboard credit and dining access at Osteria d’Ovidio, Beefbar and Umi Uma (reservations required). The package includes private transfers, luggage valet, complimentary laundry with next-day service, an initial medical consultation, themed onboard events and exclusive shoreside gatherings arranged by Crystal’s team. Fernando Barroso de Oliveira, Crystal Chairman and Brand Ambassador, will join the voyage, offering clients expert insights at select destinations.

“The 2028 World Cruise will be unlike anything we’ve done before—not just in the destinations we’ll be visiting, but in the way we’re curating every moment onboard and ashore,” said Barroso in a press statement. “From overnight stays in the world’s most iconic ports to new immersive experiences designed exclusively for Crystal guests, we’re setting a new standard for luxury exploration.”
