In 2026, Orlando is offering more than 26 new attractions, experiences and openings across theme parks, entertainment districts, accommodations, dining and retail.
What’s New at Orlando’s Theme Parks
Walt Disney World Resort will introduce updates across multiple parks. At EPCOT, Frozen Ever After will debut newly updated audio-animatronics for Anna, Elsa and Kristoff in February, followed by Soarin’ Across America, a refreshed version of the fan-favorite attraction celebrating America’s 250th anniversary.
At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, two new experiences arrive this summer: Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! and The Magic of Disney Animation. Star Wars fans can look forward to a new mission in Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run inspired by The Mandalorian and Grogu, launching May 22. Later in the summer, Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets will open with a reimagined storyline and updated design elements.
Additional Disney updates include the arrival of Bluey and Bingo at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and the spring reopening of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at Magic Kingdom. At Disney Springs, Level 99 will replace the former NBA Experience with a two-level interactive adult obstacle course.
At Universal Orlando Resort, seasonal events remain major booking drivers, including Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval, Halloween Horror Nights (celebrating its 35th anniversary), Holidays at Universal Orlando and the return of Volcano Bay Nights.
Elsewhere, SeaWorld Orlando will debut SEAQuest: Legends of the Deep, a suspended family dark ride, while LEGOLAND Florida Resort introduces Galacticoaster, a new indoor space-themed coaster, on Feb. 27.
Beyond the Parks: New Attractions and Experiences
Opening in February on International Drive, Sloth World will introduce the world’s first Slotharium, offering guided, small-group rainforest experiences.
Other highlights include Society Park, a new sports and entertainment complex; a Build-A-Bear Workshop flagship at ICON Park; the debut of Museum of Ice Cream Orlando; and Fraggle Rock: A Space-y Adventure at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.
Sports, Entertainment, and Performing Arts
Orlando’s entertainment landscape continues to expand with the launch of Orlando Storm, the city’s newest professional football team in the United Football League. Blue Man Group returns May 1 with a new permanent home at ICON Park, while Capone’s Dinner & Show opens a new location at Dezerland Park. The Orlando Ballet will present multiple new productions at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.
New Hotels, Dining and Nightlife
On the accommodations front, a dual-branded EVEN Hotel and Staybridge Suites by IHG will open near Epic Universe and the Orange County Convention Center. The city’s culinary scene continues to grow with notable openings, including The Reverie by James Beard-recognized Chef Brandon McGlamery, Cowboy Curry by Michelin-starred chef William Shen, Pomelo by Top Chef winner Hung Huyn and Still Lounge by Dre and Snoop at Live! at the Pointe Orlando.
