Greater Miami & Miami Beach is adding new hotels, restaurants, cultural attractions and experiences, giving travelers plenty of new reasons to visit—and revisit—the destination.
New Hotels and Hotel Experiences
The 800-room Grand Hyatt Miami Beach reached a major construction milestone in July with its topping off. The 17-story convention hotel is scheduled to open in late 2027 and will connect directly to the Miami Beach Convention Center via a climate-controlled skybridge.
At JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa, new experiences include Cascata Sunset Sips, a Saturday cocktail series; Off the Record, a live vinyl DJ experience; Spritz at SOFF’S, an Italian-inspired aperitivo; and The Listening Room, featuring live performances from local musicians.
Meanwhile, Royal Palm South Beach reopened in July following a more than $100 million renovation. The 404-room property, now part of Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio, features redesigned accommodations and new restaurants.
At InterContinental Miami, travelers with pets can now use Rocco, a virtual canine concierge offering recommendations for dog-friendly parks, restaurants, attractions and walking routes. An in-room dining menu for four-legged guests is also planned for later this year.
What’s New on Miami’s Dining Scene
Miami’s culinary scene is also welcoming several new additions.
On Lincoln Road, Sulta Rosa combines specialty coffee with pastries, baklava and other sweets inspired by flavors from around the world.
Pho Nam, from the team behind Tâm Tâm, brings traditional Vietnamese cooking to Miami Beach, with a menu centered on pho, along with classic dishes, specialty coffee and tea.
Casa Rassi has opened its first permanent location on Park Avenue in South Beach after starting as a local coffee pop-up, while Manoli brings Greek and Mediterranean flavors to Coconut Grove.
In Sunset Harbour, CHŌ Funky Asian Bistro offers Japanese, Chinese and Southeast Asian influences from the team behind Pubbelly.
At Oleta River State Park, Oleta River Grill is now serving seafood, tacos, burgers and Caribbean-inspired dishes overlooking the waterfront.
New Attractions and Cultural Experiences
Music fans will have another reason to visit Wynwood when Gibson Garage Miami opens Sept. 10. The 8,000-square-foot space will feature more than 500 guitars, a performance stage, exclusive merchandise and the first U.S. Gibson Gallery dedicated to music-inspired art and memorabilia.
In Sunny Isles Beach, a new Welcome Center at Gateway Center is now open with destination information, recommendations and visitor resources.
The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts has also announced its 2026-27 Arsht Impact season, featuring more than a dozen free and pay-what-you-can events celebrating Miami’s diverse communities.
At The Betsy – South Beach, Haitian-American artist Edouard Duval-Carrié’s From Venice With Love exhibition is on view through Nov. 15, with works exploring Caribbean history, migration, memory and identity.
Miami Events to Know
Travelers visiting in the coming weeks can enjoy Miami Spice Restaurant Months through Sept. 30, the Orange Blossom Classic on Sept. 6 and the Pilates Journal Expo at Loews Miami Beach Hotel Sept. 12-13. Bugtopia at Zoo Miami runs through Oct. 31.
