andBeyond is adding new ways for luxury travelers to explore South America, including a new river expedition yacht in the Peruvian Amazon and a small-group photographic journey through Chilean Patagonia.
The biggest addition is andBeyond Amazon Explorer, a 15-cabin river expedition yacht launching in December 2026. The yacht will offer 3-, 4- and 7-night itineraries in the Peruvian Amazon, using the vessel as a base for exploring the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve by skiff.
An early-booking offer provides 20 percent savings on qualifying journeys booked by Oct. 31, 2026, for departures between Dec. 15, 2026, and June 30, 2027.
A Photographic Journey Through Patagonia
For clients who prefer a more focused, small-group experience, andBeyond is also planning a weeklong photographic journey through Chilean Patagonia for April 2027.
French-born photographer and filmmaker Timothy Dhalleine will lead the eight-guest trip, which travels from Santiago to Torres del Paine National Park before continuing through Chile’s Lake District and Araucania.
The April timing coincides with Patagonia’s autumn season, when the landscape takes on deep red and copper tones. Guests will spend time photographing the region’s varied terrain and light, including during a charter flight offering aerial views of the mountains and glaciers.
The journey concludes at andBeyond Vira Vira Lodge with an Adobe Lightroom masterclass.
A Culinary Reason to Visit Vira Vira
andBeyond Vira Vira is also highlighting its culinary experiences for the upcoming spring season in Chile’s Lake District.
The 54-acre lodge near Pucon sits along the Liucura River with views of Villarrica Volcano. Its working farm includes an organic vegetable garden and on-site cheese factory where guests can learn about the cheesemaking process and sample the cheeses with wines selected by the lodge’s sommelier.
