Anguilla Adds Winter Flights From U.S. and Canada

Anguilla is set for a more accessible winter, as BermudAir’s AnguillAir brand expands service from the United States and adds a new route from Canada.

The expanded schedule brings a new Canadian gateway along with additional nonstop and direct flights from several U.S. cities, improving access to the island’s 33 beaches, dining options and low-key luxury style.

“This expansion by BermudAir strengthens regional and international air connectivity, enhances access to Anguilla, and reinforces ties across the British Overseas Territories,” said Hon. Jose Vanterpool, Minister of Infrastructure, in a press statement. “We welcome BermudAir’s continued investment in expanding its network and look forward to the benefits this will bring to Anguilla and its people.”

Anguilla: Connected

“The significant increase in flights this winter from North America means more visitors from our most important markets can easily experience why Anguilla remains one of the Caribbean’s premier destinations,” said Hon. Cardigan Connor, Minister of Health, Tourism and Sport, in a press statement. “Enhanced air service translates directly into more opportunities for our tourism sector, supporting local businesses while offering travelers greater choice and convenience to enjoy our unmatched beaches, culinary scene and authentic island charm.”

Starting in mid-December, AnguillAir is increasing frequencies from its core U.S. markets. Boston gains twice-weekly nonstop flights on Mondays and Fridays. Newark, New Jersey, adds twice-weekly nonstop service on the same days, plus a direct flight via Providenciales on Saturdays. Baltimore-Washington moves to weekly nonstop service on Mondays with an additional direct flight on Thursdays. Tampa/St. Petersburg gets new twice-weekly service via Providenciales on Thursdays and Saturdays.

BermudAir will begin weekly Saturday service between Toronto Pearson International Airport and Anguilla on Dec. 19, routing through Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Southbound flights depart Toronto at 10:30 a.m. and arrive in Anguilla at 6:05 p.m. Return flights depart Anguilla at 3 p.m. The route runs through May 1, 2027.

All flights operate on Embraer E190 aircraft configured with two classes and no middle seats. Officials note that times and schedules remain subject to change.

The airlift growth follows continued strong recognition for the island: readers have named it the top pick in the Caribbean, Bermuda and the Bahamas five times in recent years, and it earned a spot in a hall of fame after a decade of high rankings.

“We’re thrilled to continue expanding our Caribbean network as the premium leisure carrier from North America,” said Adam Scott, founder and CEO of BermudAir, in a press statement. “Our customers are ranking us with industry-leading satisfaction scores. Together with Bermuda, we now connect U.S. travelers to some of the region’s most exceptional and sought-after island destinations.”

The new schedule builds on AnguillAir’s first season and is part of BermudAir’s growing multi-island Caribbean network.
