Eye on the World: Bahia Principe Riviera Maya Resort

Last week I had the opportunity to step away from the office and make the Bahia Principe Riviera Maya Resort in Mexico my home for four days. This complex can be described as its own little city, complete with four resorts—two luxury resorts and two grand resorts—including a family-focused property, Coba, and the adults-only property, Sian Ka’an, plus the Grand Bahia Principe Tulum and the Luxury Bahia Principe Akumal; a spa; 12 pools; a doctor’s office at the Hacienda Dona Isabel, as well as plenty of shopping; great dining onsite and at the Hacienda; and a dolphin aquarium. Bahia Principe Riviera Maya also offers guests an EcoBahia expedition through the jungle where they can learn about its flora and fauna. Guests may find very little need to leave the resort, but our press group did find an excuse to escape. We took one of the tours offered through the hotel and explored the nearby Maya pyramids, ruins, cenotes, and feasted on a traditional Maya meal—prepped by the Maya people no less.

Take a peek at what you and your clients can expect from a stay at any of the Bahia Principe Riviera Maya complex resorts in this photo collection from my trip.
