Holland America Line is introducing a new collaboration with Sony Electronics for its 2025 Alaska season. The partnership will bring exclusive onboard photography experiences and a photo sweepstakes that invites guests to capture and share the beauty of Alaska.
A New Lens on Alaska
Through the new Alaska Through Your Lens sweepstakes, guests sailing with Holland America Line will have the chance to submit their most stunning images of Alaska’s glaciers, wildlife and scenery for a chance to win premium prizes.
The grand prize includes a future Alaska cruise for two, plus a Sony Alpha 7R V camera and G Master II lenses. Guests can enter the photography sweepstakes online or by posting their photos on social media using hashtags #AlphaHALcruise and #Sweepstakes.
To kick off the partnership, Sony hosted a special photography class led by Sony Artisan Colby Brown during a recent 7-day Inside Passage cruise aboard Zaandam.
“For more than 75 years, Holland America Line has been bringing guests to the unparalleled wildlife and breathtaking glaciers that are the natural beauty of Alaska,” said Kacy Cole, Chief Marketing Officer at Holland America Line, in a press statement. “Our collaboration with Sony helps capture Alaska through the lens of our guests and creates experiences too good to hurry through.”
“With our cutting-edge technology, we hope [guests] will capture those awe-inspiring moments that stir the soul, sharing the beauty of the Last Frontier in ways that connect deeply with their emotions,” said Yang Cheng, Vice President, Imaging Solutions at Sony Electronics, in a press statement.
