Hyatt’s lifestyle brand JdV has opened its first Caribbean property in Punta Cana’s El Cortecito neighborhood: the Royal Beach Hotel Punta Cana.
“It’s a pleasure to be part of this milestone project and debut the JdV by Hyatt brand in the Caribbean,” said Juan Alejandro Sanchez, General Manager, Royal Beach Hotel Punta Cana, in a press statement. “Following an extensive renovation, we look forward to welcoming business and leisure travelers to connect and live in the moment with endless opportunities to explore the local vibe—white sand and clear beaches included.”
Royal Treatment at the Royal Beach Hotel
Located just steps from Los Corales Beach and a 25-minute drive from Punta Cana International Airport, this 66-room property blends local character with practical amenities clients expect. Each guestroom features 55-inch HDTVs and complimentary Wi-Fi.
A key selling point is the hotel’s day pass program. Guests can purchase all-inclusive access to neighboring Hyatt properties—Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana for $60 and Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana for $50. These passes include full access to Los Corales Beach facilities, tennis and pickleball courts, basketball courts, plus restaurants and bars.
The property features Ambar Fusion Cuisine, which combines international techniques with local ingredients. Bar Colon serves as the pool bar, while the Royal Beach Lobby Bar offers a selection of cocktails, wines, coffee and tea options.
Additional amenities include a 24-hour fitness center and a pool with loungers.
This opening strengthens Hyatt’s presence in Punta Cana, joining 20 existing Hyatt Inclusive Collection resorts in the area. Globally, the JdV by Hyatt brand now has more than 55 properties across the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia.
