Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina is heating up the summer with cool new enhancements. The cliffside AAA Four-Diamond property in the British Virgin Islands now has private beach cabanas, updated dining venues and new menu selections to appeal to your VIP clients.
Scrub Island Updates
The resort has introduced three private beach cabanas along North Beach, each accommodating two to four guests. Named Flip Flop Hideaway, Loafer Lagoon, and Lost Sole, these tiki-roof structures offer padded loungers, towels, built-in storage, a fruit plate and a chilled bucket of wine or beer. Guests enjoy full food and beverage service from the nearby One Shoe Beach Bar & Grill. These cabanas are available by reservation for both overnight and day guests, making them a premium add-on opportunity for advisors.
One Shoe Beach Bar & Grill has undergone improvements, including upgraded dining furniture, a polished cement bar top, an overhead shade canopy, new lounge chairs and hammocks and fresh landscaping. The updated menu features island-inspired selections—think specialty wraps, shareable dips, salads and handheld items.
For clients preferring more refined dining, Cardamom & Co., the resort’s signature restaurant, also boasts a refreshed interior with new tables, chairs, lighting, artwork and a redesigned bar overlooking the marina and pool. The restaurant now offers an enhanced daily breakfast buffet alongside new dinner options such as pan-seared sea scallops with pumpkin puree and pan-seared grouper with Caribbean yams and coconut red curry sauce.
The 230-acre private island resort continues to offer 52 guest accommodations, as well as expansive villas ranging from two to six bedrooms. The largest villas are over 6,000 square feet in size and can accommodate up to 12 guests, making them perfect for multi-generational family travel or small group gatherings.
Additional resort amenities include two beaches, Ixora Spa, a full-service marina and access to dive excursions and watersports at nearby Marina Cay. The resort also features a boutique, sundries shop with grab-and-go options and a provisions store. Just offshore, the new Marina Cay Bar & Grill serves lunch and dinner.
Active clients can participate in excursions through Dive BVI or earn sailing certifications with Offshore Sailing School—these can be additional selling points.
This private island haven is situated at the eastern end of Tortola, offering views of the Atlantic Ocean, the Caribbean Sea and neighboring islands.
