For the first time, Cunard will launch its Transatlantic Fashion Week voyage from American shores this fall. The 7-day crossing aboard Queen Mary 2 sails from New York to Southampton from Oct. 31 to Nov. 7, 2025, offering guests an immersive fashion experience paired with the line’s signature white star service.
“Transatlantic Fashion Week has become a must-attend event since its launch in 2016, welcoming legendary designers from around the world to showcase their designs aboard the industry’s most iconic ships,” said Katie McAlister, President of Cunard, in a press statement. “The 2025 Transatlantic Fashion Week will once again embark from New York, the fashion capital of the U.S., and continues Cunard’s legacy of bringing high culture to the high seas.”
Fashion Celebrities Heart Cunard
The 2025 voyage features an exceptional roster of fashion industry leaders. CFDA Designer Christian Siriano takes center stage with his first runway show at sea in the ship’s Queens Room, presenting selections from his 16-year archive. The TIME100 honoree, whose work has dressed celebrities ranging from Oprah to Zendaya, will create an exclusive nautical-themed dress for Cunard, which will be displayed throughout the journey. Fashion enthusiasts can attend Siriano’s Q&A session in the Royal Court Theatre and meet him during scheduled book signings.
“I am honored to headline the return of Transatlantic Fashion Week and partner with a brand that has such a longstanding history with the fashion industry and its icons,” said Siriano in a press statement. “The new custom piece I’ll be unveiling on board draws inspiration from the sea and celebrates classic glamour synonymous with Cunard.”
Costume design icon Bob Mackie brings select pieces from his personal collection aboard, including celebrity gowns and couture runway creations worn by stars such as Cher and Diana Ross. Guests can view these designs, bid on Mackie sketches at auction, and attend a screening of his new documentary “Bob Mackie: Naked Illusion,” followed by a live Q&A.
“I’ve always believed fashion should be fabulous and a bit fearless, and a ship as glamorous as Queen Mary 2 offers the perfect setting to showcase these designs and connect with fellow fashion lovers,” said Bob Mackie in a press statement.
Supermodel Coco Rocha joins the voyage to share insights from her two-decade career. Having appeared on over 100 magazine covers and walked for premier fashion houses including Chanel and Prada, Rocha will conduct workshops featuring elements from her Model Camp, teaching the posing techniques that earned her the title “Queen of Pose.”
Rounding out the fashion contingent are bestselling author and journalist Dana Thomas and creative director James Aguiar, who serves as the voyage’s curator.
