Holland America Line is giving RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay a major refresh ahead of the Bahamian destination’s 30th anniversary in 2027, adding a new Beach Club, food pavilion and upgraded outdoor spaces for guests sailing the cruise line’s Caribbean itineraries.
The biggest addition is the new Beach Club, an exclusive experience that combines open-air Caribbean design with dedicated service and upgraded amenities. Day passes will be available for booking in early October.
Guests who purchase access will receive priority tendering from the ship, dedicated waiter service, all-inclusive alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, beach accessories and specialty food and beverage offerings.
More Ways to Experience Half Moon Cay
Guests who don’t book the Beach Club will also find new and refreshed options across the island.
A new food pavilion will serve a complimentary island-inspired barbecue menu, while existing bars and eateries are being renovated. Holland America is also upgrading cabanas, clamshells and daybeds and adding more beach chairs and canopy loungers designed for two.
For clients who want something beyond the beach, four pickleball courts offer another way to spend time ashore. The courts were introduced last season as part of the destination’s ongoing enhancements.
The refreshed Half Moon Cay arrives as Holland America promotes its 2026-27 Caribbean season, including holiday sailings. The line’s Save on Sunshine promotion currently offers up to 50 percent off cruise fares and free kids’ fares on select cruises.
Holiday itineraries range from 7-day Caribbean escapes to longer journeys combining classic ports with less-traveled islands, historic destinations and Panama Canal experiences.
A Sweet Addition to Holland America’s Caribbean Season
The Half Moon Cay refresh isn’t the only culinary addition coming to Holland America’s Caribbean sailings.
During the 2026-27 Caribbean season, guests aboard all Holland America ships sailing in the region can also try Magnolia Bakery’s signature Banana Pudding in the Lido Market. Holland America chefs trained alongside Magnolia Bakery’s team in New York to learn the preparation of the bakery’s signature version, which combines bananas, vanilla wafers, vanilla pudding, sweetened condensed milk and whipped cream.
The partnership adds another food-focused experience to Holland America’s Caribbean programming, which also includes regional dishes in the Dining Room, a Caribbean Seafood Boil in Lido Market, Caribbean Brunch and Teatime, and a Caribbean-themed dinner around the Lido Pool.
