Corinthia Group is bringing its hotel brand to Grace Bay in Turks & Caicos, where it plans a beachfront resort that pairs branded residences with an ultra-luxury hotel on the last undeveloped parcel fronting that stretch of sand.
The hotel will have 50 suites and will be operated by Corinthia Hotels, while the residential side comes in three formats—beachfront villas, casitas and condominiums—all fully serviced. Planned amenities include a spa and wellness center, a beach club, several swimming pools, restaurants, shops and padel courts.
Turks & Caicos Ups the Luxury Ante
Planning has centered on the beachfront itself, with the architecture and landscaping worked out around the coastal environment. The design draws on the Caicos Banks and their calm, shallow water, favoring understated styling, natural ventilation and close integration of indoor and outdoor space. “This is a rare opportunity to develop a world-class hotel and branded residential destination in one of the Caribbean’s most sought-after locations,” said Alex Chazkel, Managing Partner, Corinthia Real Estate Ventures, in a press statement.
Your clients will have to wait, however. The project is moving toward formal planning approval, and construction is expected to start in 2027. Corinthia Real Estate Ventures (C-REV), the group’s real estate investment and development arm, is leading the work on a site assembled by Karen Cummings, a managing member of Carolina Partners Ltd., Corinthia’s partner on the project. Cummings bought the first parcel more than 25 years ago and added others over the following decades.
Corinthia is entering a market where advisors already expect luxury demand to grow. In Classic Vacations‘ 2026 Luxury Travel Trends Report, based on a survey of advisors who serve U.S. luxury travelers, 77 percent said client demand for luxury travel would rise in 2026, and 76 percent said sun-and-beach destinations such as the Caribbean would remain in high demand.
Grace Bay is also the first of several North American projects C-REV plans to bring forward, adding to recently opened or announced Corinthia properties in Malta, Rome, Lake Como, Tuscany and the Maldives. “Grace Bay is a truly exceptional setting, and we look forward to creating a landmark project that reflects the quality of the site and the Corinthia brand,” said Marcus Pisani, Managing Partner, Corinthia Real Estate Ventures, in a press statement.
