COMO Hotels and Resorts is running five winter programs across its portfolio this season, ranging from Ayurvedic treatments in Turks and Caicos to a women’s ski week in Italy. Visiting experts lead three, while the other two focus on outdoor activities and dining.
Pick Your COMO Retreat
The earliest program, A Journey into Ayurveda, starts Nov. 1 at COMO Parrot Cay, the brand’s private-island resort in Turks and Caicos, where visiting Ayurvedic consultant Dr. Vikrant Sharma leads a new wellness offering through Feb. 15, 2027. Therapies including Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Marma therapy and healing sound follow an initial consultation that assesses each guest’s constitution, and COMO Conversations sessions cover Ayurvedic principles.
COMO Cocoa Island in the Maldives’ South Male Atoll hosts abstract painter and Paralympic athlete Gregory Burns for From Sea to Self, a residency running Dec. 8-27, 2026. Burns will lead hands-on workshops and hold open studios and talks on the links among art, nature and transformation, and the program closes with an exhibition of work created during the three weeks. Outside the residency, the resort, reached by speedboat from Male, offers overwater villas, COMO Shambhala wellness, diving, snorkeling, fishing and island picnics.
Clients who would rather ski than escape the cold have a January option at COMO Alpina Dolomites, which sits at the base of Alpe di Siusi with direct slope access. Its Women’s Ski & Wellness Retreat, Summit Within, runs Jan. 24-30, 2027, with Olympic champions Julia Mancuso and Denise Karbon and wellness practitioner Martina Wegscheider. Participants ski Alpe di Siusi, Val Gardena and Alta Badia, add yoga and personalized treatments between ski days and spend one evening riding a snowcat up to a mountain hut before sledding back down.
COMO Point Yamu on Phuket’s Cape Yamu offers the Khao Phra Teaw National Park Rainforest Hike, a 4-hour, roughly 5-mile trek through some of the last virgin rainforest left on the island, ending with a natural-pool swim and a stop at Bang Pae, Phuket’s largest waterfall.
In Perth, COMO The Treasury occupies the restored State Buildings, where its rooftop restaurant, Wildflower, holds three Chef Hats and builds its changing menus around Western Australian produce from farmers and foragers, following the Noongar calendar’s six Indigenous seasons. Wine masterclasses and the complex’s other restaurants, bars and food experiences round out the stay.
Of note: Neither the Point Yamu nor The Treasure properties tie their offerings to specific dates.
