Fresh from a head-to-toe reimagining that went beyond skin deep, the new Kimpton Hotel Enso in San Francisco’s JapanTown takes your clients away from the usual hotel stay to immerse them in what they call “authentic neighborhood experiences.”

Kimpton Hotel Enso is designed to be your client’s home away from home, with a welcoming lobby that feels like they’ve entered a friend’s ultra-chic living room inspired by Japan’s aesthetic—there’s even a communal table. The hotel has 131 guestrooms with all the modern amenities with a design inspired by a modern Japanese home. Its location is another big part of its draw, as it’s within walking distance to all kinds of hidden gems, from spas to shops to boutiques that house the best of San Francisco.

Kimpton Hotel Enso’s Extras

The Kimpton Hotel Enso welcomes leisure and business clients looking for more than just a place to park their laptops and hold Zoom meetings. There’s a matcha/green tea station in the lobby and a digitized vending machine loaded with Japanese snacks offering an alternative to the usual coffee break, plus the Technicolor Room and its rotating art installations that will serve to “cleanse” their mental palate between meetings. There’s also a Courtyard that gives them an urban garden spot with fire pits, seating, games and private guest patios overlooking the lush greenery. A calendar of regular activities is under development that will include Taiko drumming circles and Japanese brush paintings, among other things. All this is in addition to the extras that are signature to all Kimpton properties: the evening Social Hour, a fleet of bikes for their (free) use (great for that immersive neighborhood experience), in-room yoga mats, a fitness center and everyone’s favorites, a pet-friendly policy.
