Silo Hotel South Africa
Travelers on the South Africa in Ultimate Luxury itinerary will spend the first four nights in Silo Hotel.

African Travel Inc. is sending travelers on a new handcrafted itinerary designed to give them a luxurious experience of the many highlights South Africa has to offer.

The new South African in Ultimate Luxury journey begins in Cape Town, the country’s oldest city, where travelers will be welcomed for a 4-night stay at the five-star Silo Hotel located in the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. In Cape Town, guests can take a locally guided tour or a cable car to the top of Table Mountain, visit the Bo-Kaap neighborhood with its multicultural history, shop in the bustling Greenmarket Square, and more. Guests can also ride the Flying Dutchman funicular to the old lighthouse and take in the views before continuing along the coast to the lively penguin colony at Boulders Beach, and then head back to the city via the naval village of Simon’s Town.

From Cape Town, guests will then make their way to the winelands, where they’ll learn about the process of wine making, stroll through Stellenbosch with its Cape Dutch architecture and visit the village of Franschhoek.

Luxury South Africa
Guests will be treated to a game drive as part of the South Africa in Ultimate Luxury itinerary.

Leaving the gourmet capital of South Africa, travelers will then embark on experiencing a different side of South Africa as they check in to the new Saseka Tented Camp set within the Thornybush Nature Reserve, which measures more than 34,500 acres. Here, guests will be treated to high tea before setting off for an afternoon game drive that will last through the early evening, giving guests a chance to see the more elusive nocturnal species. Then it’s back to camp for dinner and a relaxing evening around the fireplace. With elevated tent suites and a high density go wildlife, Saseka Tented Camp offers guests game viewing opportunities from their own private decks. Also available are guided walks through the bush, candle-lit dinners alfresco, and dawn game drives.

Rates for this 8-day journey start from $6,895 pp dbl. Guests who book this itinerary by July 31, 2019 for travel ending by December 4, 2019 will receive a complimentary visit to Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa, a Cape Peninsula tour and a Cape Winelands tour.
