Norwegian Cruise Line has announced that Chief Sales Officer John Chernesky will leave the company this December, after three and a half years with the cruise line, according to published reports.
No details have been released regarding Chernesky’s next move or when a permanent successor will be named. Brennan Quesnele, NCL’s Sr. VP of Strategic Accounts and Trade Marketing, will oversee North America sales on an interim basis while the cruise line searches for a permanent replacement. Chernesky will remain with the company through Dec. 31 to assist with the transition.
Chernesky was promoted to his current role this past January after having joined Norwegian Cruise Line in April 2023 as Sr. VP of North America Sales. Prior to joining NCL, he had worked at Princess, Cunard and Holland America.
