South African Airways (SAA) and South Africa-based event organizer, On Show Solutions, have announced the 2019 dates and locations for the Africa Showcase in North America.
The Africa Showcase brings together over 30 top suppliers from Africa representing hotels, safari lodges, destination tourism organizations in Africa and North American travel advisors and tour operators for educational presentations, networking opportunities and one-on-one meetings.
This year, the Africa Showcase will visit four cities as the event celebrates its 11th year of hosting North America’s largest trade show exclusively focused on promoting African tourism. On Sept. 3, the Africa Showcase will take place in Toronto. On Sept. 5, it will move on to Stamford, Connecticut before heading to Fort Lauderdale on Sept. 9. Denver will be the final city to host the Africa Showcase on Sept. 11.
“We look forward to sharing our destination with the North American trade again in September,” said Jacqui Reynolds, owner of On Show Solutions, in press materials. “This year, our format has been enhanced to run as a full trade day. Tourism boards will present their destinations in the morning, suppliers will meet buyers in pre-scheduled meetings in the afternoon and we have lots of time for networking during lunch and happy hour cocktails.”
