Delta Air Lines is expanding its transpacific network with new nonstop service between Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and Tokyo-Narita International Airport (NRT), giving travelers another way to reach Japan from the Pacific Northwest.
The daily service is scheduled to begin in late March 2027 and will complement Delta’s existing nonstop flights between Seattle and Tokyo-Haneda (HND). The new route will operate on Delta’s Airbus A330-900neo, featuring Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort and Delta Main cabins.
Connectivity to Japan
The addition gives travelers from Seattle and Delta’s broader U.S. network two airport options for reaching Tokyo. Delta also serves Tokyo-Haneda from Atlanta, Detroit, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Los Angeles and Honolulu.
For travelers continuing beyond Tokyo, the new Seattle-Narita service also adds connectivity to Delta’s broader Asia-Pacific network through its joint venture with Korean Air. Together, the carriers provide connections through Seoul-Incheon to destinations throughout the region, including 15 destinations in Japan such as Osaka and Sapporo.
The new service further expands Delta’s presence at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, where the airline operates more than 160 peak-day departures to more than 62 destinations. Delta’s Seattle network also includes new nonstop service to Barcelona and Rome.
