Explora Journeys is giving guests a more personal look at the luxury cruise line with its first President’s Journey, hosted by President Anna Nash aboard EXPLORA II from Dec. 9-16, 2026.
Part of the line’s A Serene Mediterranean Winter 2026–2027 Journeys Collection, the 7-night sailing is designed around connection, conversation and exclusive experiences, giving guests opportunities to spend time with Nash and members of the Explora Journeys leadership team.
For travel advisors, the sailing offers a particularly high-touch option for luxury clients who value access and enrichment alongside their cruise experience.
An Inside Look at Explora Journeys
Nash, whose career spans more than two decades in luxury travel, designed the President’s Journey around her own perspective on hospitality. Guests will have opportunities to connect with her informally during morning walks and intimate dinners, as well as through conversations focused on what travelers want from their luxury journeys.
“For me, hospitality begins with listening,” said Nash, in a press statement. “It is about taking the time to understand what guests value, what inspires them and what they would like their future Journeys with us to look like.”
The conversations also give guests a closer look at the people shaping Explora Journeys while giving the company direct feedback on what matters to luxury travelers.
Exclusive Experiences in Gibraltar and Casablanca
The itinerary adds several experiences created specifically for the President’s Journey.
In Gibraltar, guests will explore the territory’s World War II tunnels before visiting The Convent, the historic official residence of the Governor of Gibraltar.
The journey then continues to Casablanca, where an overnight stay allows more time to explore the city. Guests will also gather with Nash for a sunset cocktail at Royal Mansour Casablanca during a complimentary, limited-capacity destination experience.
The sailing also features an enrichment lineup designed to bring a range of perspectives to the journey. Among the Luminaries are Lewis Pugh, UN Patron of the Ocean and endurance swimmer; Annabel Croft, former British number one tennis player and broadcaster; journalist and broadcaster Matt Barbet; and ocean travel destination expert Gail Packer.
Explora Club Members will receive dedicated recognition and priority access to select experiences, along with invitation-only gatherings focused on destinations, wellness and culinary experiences.
Selling the Mediterranean in Winter
The President’s Journey is part of Explora Journeys’ A Serene Mediterranean, which runs from November 2026 through March 2027.
The collection highlights the Mediterranean outside of its peak summer season, with itineraries spanning destinations including Sicily, Tunisia, the Greek Islands, Iberia and the Atlantic coast.
Explora is also adding more shorter journeys to the winter collection, including 4- and 5-night sailings, giving advisors additional options for clients seeking a shorter luxury escape without sacrificing the brand’s signature experience.
