Wendy Wu Tours has announced the expansion of its U.S. headquarters in New York with the hiring of Leslie Peden as president, North America, and Marc Leventhal as the newly appointed business development manager.

Peden brings with him more than 25 years of experience, having previously served as director of U.S. and EMEA sales for Rocky Mountaineer, managing director of Virgin Holiday Cruises and global sales director of Island Cruises. In addition to leading the effort towards expanding strategic collaborations with new and existing partners, Peden has been tasked with forging new partnerships with Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), building stronger ties with airline partners including Cathay Pacific, Air China and United, and broadening Wendy Wu Tours’ product offerings for the U.S. market.

Working alongside Peden is Marc Leventhal, who joins Wendy Wu Tours from the American Queen Steamboat Company. Leventhal’s 20-year travel career includes working with brands such as Royal Caribbean International, Hurtigruten, and TravCorp. He will work towards strengthening the company’s relationship with the travel agent community and developing partnerships with key consortia and agency networks.
