Visit Graubunden and wholesale FIT tour operator Avanti Destinations have joined forces to help you become an expert in this gorgeous slice of Switzerland that’s perfect for families who love the great outdoors—winter or summer. Known for the drama of its mountainous landscape, rivers, lakes, year-round sports, Insta-ready villages and thermal spas, you can partake in this joint educational campaign starting on February 14, 2023, with a webinar led by the tourist board and Avanti at 1:30 p.m. EST, 10:30 PST.
The campaign also includes a 40-page educational brochure, “Adventure Throughout Graugunden,” that you can download via Avanti’s travel advisor portal. In the brochure, you’ll find three new customizable vacations to the area. You’ll also be able to access a new microsite with videos, a photo gallery and descriptions of the destinations, plus you’ll receive a $50 gift card for every three-night stay in the destination that has a minimum land value of $2,500 booked between Jan. 19, 2023, and March 31, 2023, with travel completed by Dec. 31, 2023.

A Look at Avanti Destinations and Visit Graubunden’s New Vacations
There are four customizable vacations within the brochure, three of which are new. Two of these adventures are by train and one is by car. All three are available from May through October. Switzerland Off-the-Beaten-Path is an 8-night exploration by rail through Zurich, Laax, Davos, Scuol, Celerina and Zermatt. Alpine Cruise by Rail is a 3-night excursion in Davos, Chur and St. Moritz, while the Alpine Circle Self-Drive includes three nights in Bad Ragaz (also known as Heidiland), St. Moritz, and Flims. These vacations can be combined or linked with other destinations in Switzerland, Italy, Germany or Austria if your clients want to extend the experience.
