For the first time since 2019, both Walt Disney World Resort water parks—Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon—will open simultaneously, offering guests a choice between wintery fun and tropical thrills this summer.
Celebrating 30 Years
Marking its 30th anniversary, Blizzard Beach Water Park will remain open throughout April with special festivities, including themed dance parties, character meet-and-greets featuring Disney characters in winter attire, games, limited-edition merchandise and specialty food and beverages. The park will close temporarily on May 1 before reopening for the summer season from May 21 to Sept. 7.
During Blizzard Beach’s brief closure, Typhoon Lagoon will open on May 1, featuring its signature attractions such as Crush ‘n’ Gusher, Humunga Kowabunga and Miss Adventure Falls.
If your clients are looking for extended water park fun, they can experience Disney H2O Glow After Hours at Typhoon Lagoon. This nighttime event offers exclusive after-dark entertainment, including DJ-led dance parties, Disney character encounters and complimentary snacks. Disney Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members are eligible for discounts.
