Dolly Parton isn’t resting on her butterflies: Dollywood’s HeartSong Lodge & Resort will be ready for bookings in June for stays starting in November when the resort opens. The resort—just 10 minutes from Tennessee’s Great Smoky Mountains National Park—will have 302 guestrooms and suites, including family and themed suites and hospitality rooms for small guests. It’s also right by Dollywood Theme Park, Dollywood’s Splash County Water Park and Dollywood DreamMore Resort and Spa, so clients won’t have far to go for all kinds of Dolly-themed fun. Clients booked at the new resort will also have priority park access, a complimentary Dollywood TimeSaver Pass, free door-to-door transportation, Saturday early park entry for exclusive ride time and more.

If you book groups, the HeartSong Meeting and Event Center will have 26,000 sq. ft. of flexible indoor/outdoor event space. Booked a wedding on the lawn, but there’s rain in the forecast? Not a problem—they’ll have tents waiting just in case.

In addition to the new lodgings, Dollywood Theme Park will welcome a new rollercoaster, Big Bear Mountain, set to open in May of this year. This $25 million investment will be the longest roller coaster in the park. Part of Wildwood Grove (the park’s biggest expansion), Big Bear will take riders of all ages around the expansion area along nearly 4,000 ft. of track for nearly two minutes. It will also include onboard audio with music and announcements by Ned Oakley.
