Custom FIT tour operator Avanti Destinations has introduced InstaQuote, a new vacation-planning app designed to streamline the quoting process for travel advisors.
To use the app, travel advisors must enter information such as the departure city, the number of nights per location, hotel star ratings, contact information and other vital details. Once submitted, the tool delivers a price estimate via email, including a custom FIT land package with suggested transfers, sightseeing tours and other experiences.
Advisors must sign into Avanti’s portal to modify and book the trip. InstaQuote generates a quote in about 30 to 90 seconds, with more complex itineraries taking up to four minutes.
Game-Changer for Travel Advisors
“Each InstaQuote is assigned a proposal number, so clients simply give that number to their travel advisor, who—if they aren’t registered with Avanti—can call us, provide the InstaQuote number and finalize the package with the assistance of one of our destination specialists,” said Nate Guilfoyle, Director of Web Services at Avanti, in a press statement.
For advisors already registered on the Avanti portal, InstaQuotes are automatically added to their workspace, where they can modify and finalize their client’s package. InstaQuote will also introduce white label functionality, allowing travel advisors to customize emailed quotes with their agency name, contact information and logo—a valuable tool for branding and lead generation.
“InstaQuote is the latest in our technological enhancements to simplify booking complex FIT itineraries,” said Guilfoyle. “We can also build a live quote over the phone in real time. Other FIT companies have to check with their suppliers and get back to you. We also allow you to build a complete quote with no passenger names required.”
