jetBlue announced four new flight connections out of Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport. The airline is now offering nonstop flights to Jacksonville (JAX), Las Vegas (LAS), Pittsburgh (PIT) and Cartagena, Colombia (CTG).

“Several years ago, jetBlue started flying from Orlando to Bogota, and shortly after from Ft. Lauderdale to Bogota, then JFK to Cartagena, and just last year Ft. Lauderdale to Medellin, and now Cartagena—everything that jetBlue has done in Colombia has been a success,” says John Checketts, director route planning for jetBlue. “And Colombia, in a way, has helped pave the way in building jetBlue’s confidence that we can be successful throughout Latin America.”

The four new nonstop flights out of FTL begin today. jetBlue recently introduced new nonstop services for the winter season from Boston to Liberia, Costa Rica (LIR); Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic (POP); and Saint Lucia (UVF). All three services begin Nov. 1, and operate once weekly on Saturdays.
