Costa Cruises Debuts New Webinar Series for Advisors

Costa Cruises is launching a new webinar series for travel advisors to deepen product knowledge and support sales of its offerings.

Called “All Aboard Costa,” the five-part educational series begins July 7 and will continue every six weeks through the end of the year.

Educating Advisors to Sell Costa

Each webinar includes a 30- to 45-minute live training session followed by a Q&A with Priscilla Reyes, Head of Sales for Costa Cruises North America, allowing advisors to ask questions and learn more about the brand’s products, itineraries and selling points.

Costa Cruises will also raffle a $50 Amazon gift card during each session, with all attendees automatically entered to win.

“Supporting our travel advisors is a top priority for Costa, and our new webinar series is a natural extension of this commitment that includes our new Cruisetelling educational course and redesigned Costa Extra portal,” said Reyes, in a press statement. “Our goal is to connect with advisors each month in a live environment, share what makes Costa so special and provide everything they need to confidently bring Costa to their clients.”

The first three topics in the webinar series are tentatively planned, and the two remaining subjects will be announced in the coming weeks:

  • July 7: An Introduction to the Costa Brand—Explore Costa’s Italian-inspired hospitality, product offerings, guest experience and what sets it apart in the cruise market.
  • Aug. 18: A Guide to Available Tools—Learn how to leverage Costa’s marketing resources, sales tools and support to drive bookings and increase business.
  • Sept. 29: Costa’s Winter Destinations—Learn about Costa’s winter deployment and gain knowledge to confidently recommend each winter destination based on clients’ travel interests and preferences.

Travel advisors who have opted in to receive Costa communications will be sent an email inviting them to participate in the webinar series, and details also will be available via Costa Extra—Costa’s travel advisor portal. Travel advisors who are unable to attend the live sessions or want a review can access each webinar via recording on Costa Extra if they register.
