The Ocean Club, a Four Seasons Resort, Bahamas, has redesigned 26 guestrooms and two suites on the ocean-facing side of its historic Hartford Wing, and guests visiting for the 2026 festive season will be among the first to stay there. The new accommodations open alongside a holiday calendar covering children, fitness and dining from Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day.
A Four Seasons Christmas
The Hartford Ocean View accommodations face the Atlantic and sit close to the main lobby and the resort’s restaurants, and the redesign gives them a lighter, brighter look with colors drawn from the sand and sea. Ground-floor guestrooms open onto the lawn through terraces, a favorite with families, while second-floor rooms offer more privacy.
Children’s holiday activities fall under Kids For All Seasons, the resort’s complimentary program, which runs creative projects, outdoor play and holiday activities across the festive period. On Christmas Eve, younger guests can meet Santa for family photographs in the Hotel Lobby, join a Christmas tennis class, decorate cookies, stockings and Christmas globes, and end the day with storytelling and a kids’ eggnog. Other sessions range from sandcastle making and tennis clinics to Junkanoo mask painting, laser tag, foam parties and movie nights.
For adults focused on fitness, Christmas morning opens with yoga on Versailles Terrace East accompanied by a cellist, followed by open-water paddleboarding. The broader calendar adds Pilates, padel, Breath and Balance, Padel Under the Stars and Holiday Hustle HIIT.
Restaurants mark both holidays with special menus. DUNE by Jean-Georges serves a Chef’s Special dinner from 6 to 10 p.m. on Christmas Eve, when The Martini Bar and Lounge offers Sushi and Sake and Ocean Blu adds chef specials to its regular menu. On Christmas Day, DUNE and Ocean Blu both present Chef’s Special dinners, and The Martini Bar and Lounge adds Crudo and Cigar Rolling. Rum Tasting, High Tea, Oysters and Martinis and Sunday Brunch at DUNE on select dates continue throughout the festive period.
Junkanoo entertainment comes through the resort from 4 to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 29, and New Year’s Eve brings a 5-course dinner at DUNE from 6 to 10 p.m., live entertainment, a Junkanoo and fireworks at the resort, with music continuing into the early hours of 2027. The annual General Manager Run takes place on New Year’s Day.
