MAST Travel Network has partnered with Special Needs Group (SNG), a travel services company specializing in mobility and medical equipment rentals, to help member advisors better support travelers with accessibility needs.
The partnership expands MAST’s resources for travel professionals, offering education and practical solutions to help advisors plan more accessible travel experiences for their clients.
“This partnership is an important step in MAST’s growth,” said Andrew Davis, President and COO of MAST Travel Network, in a media statement. “Accessibility isn’t a niche market. It’s a fundamental part of serving every traveler well. Partnering with Special Needs Group allows us to give our advisors the tools and education they need to confidently serve travelers of all abilities.”
MAST Advisors Gain Access to Accessible Travel Training
Through the partnership, MAST members can access Special Needs Group’s educational resources, including its Certified Accessible Travel Advocate (CATA) program. The certification helps travel professionals build the knowledge and skills needed to serve clients with mobility challenges and other accessibility requirements.
Advisors who earn the CATA designation may also qualify for valuable referrals through the Special Needs Group website, creating another potential opportunity to connect with travelers seeking accessible travel services.
The program is available at no charge to travel industry professionals with a valid industry identifier. Participants can complete the three-module online curriculum and required testing or attend a live presentation and testing session.
MAST members will also have access to Special Needs Group’s mobility and medical equipment rental solutions, including wheelchairs, scooters, oxygen and other specialized equipment, to help coordinate services for its clients.
