Condor is expanding its U.S. connectivity through a new agreement with American Airlines, giving travelers access to Condor’s transatlantic flights from more than 150 cities across American’s network.
The partnership will connect American Airlines’ U.S. network with Condor gateways in Boston, New York (JFK), Los Angeles and, beginning in May 2027, Chicago. From those gateways, travelers can connect to Condor’s nonstop service to Frankfurt and onward to destinations across Europe, including Paris, Rome, Milan, Berlin, Barcelona, Munich, Vienna and Zurich.
“With American Airlines, we are welcoming a strong partner whose network perfectly complements our own and significantly enhances our connectivity across North America,” said David Carlisle, VP Network Planning & Partnerships Condor, in a media statement. “This partnership strengthens our position in the transatlantic market while offering our guests even more travel options. Together, we are continuing to expand our international network and create attractive travel opportunities on both sides of the Atlantic.”
“American’s new agreement with Condor underscores our commitment to connect people with the places that matter most,” said Jeff Ogar, American’s Managing Director of Alliances, in a media statement. “Combining our extensive North American network with Condor’s presence in Germany and Europe creates a winning proposition for our mutual customers.”
What the American-Condor Partnership Means for Travelers
Under the interline agreement, travelers will be able to book itineraries combining both airlines on a single ticket. The arrangement also includes through-checked baggage to the final destination and check-in for the complete itinerary, making connections between the two carriers easier to manage.
The partnership will be particularly relevant as Condor expands its U.S. footprint. The new Condor-American itineraries will be available for booking soon through Condor, American Airlines, travel agencies and other sales partners.
