Hyatt Names Eduardo Schutte to Lead Inclusive Collection

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has named Eduardo Schutte senior vice president, commercial, for the Hyatt Inclusive Collection, effective July 27, adding commercial leadership to the company’s all-inclusive and leisure segments.

Schutte will oversee sales, revenue management, brand, marketing, distribution and other commercial functions for the Inclusive Collection, with a focus on improving commercial performance, building brand preference, expanding distribution and reinforcing the company’s position in the leisure segment. He will report to Javier Aguila, president, Inclusive Collection, and work closely with Mark Vondrasek, chief commercial officer.

Schutte most recently served as chief commercial officer of Cross Border Xpress. Over more than 30 years, he has held senior commercial roles at Grupo Posadas, TravelClick, LXR Luxury Resorts and Hotels, Hilton and Amadeus, working across sales, marketing, revenue management, distribution, pricing, strategic collaborations and business development in the Americas and beyond. He holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a degree in hotel management from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.

Hyatt Inclusive Collection now includes more than 150 resorts and nearly 58,000 guestrooms across Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe. The portfolio grew through the 2021 acquisition of Apple Leisure Group and the 2025 acquisition of Playa Hotels and Resorts, along with a joint venture with Pineiro for management of Bahia Principe Hotels and Resorts.

Recent openings include Dreams Playa Esmeralda Resort and Spa, Secrets St. Lucia Resort and Spa, Secrets Baby Beach Aruba and Secrets Mirabel Cancun Resort and Spa. Secrets Playa Mujeres Golf and Spa Resort and Hyatt Zilara Cancun recently underwent extensive renovations. Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana, Park Hyatt Riviera Maya and Grand Hyatt Los Cabos are set to open before the end of 2026.
