According to the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the new service further strengthens air connectivity between the U.S. and Thailand, making it easier for travelers to access the country’s diverse leisure offerings. Visitors can explore destinations ranging from Bangkok’s cultural attractions and Southern Thailand’s beaches to Northern Thailand’s mountain landscapes and wellness retreats.

“Improved air connectivity plays an important role in making Thailand more accessible to travelers from North America,” said Ms. Chompu Marusachot, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand New York Office, in a media statement. “We are delighted to see additional travel options from the Washington, D.C. region and look forward to welcoming even more visitors to discover Thailand’s rich cultural heritage, breathtaking natural beauty and meaningful travel experiences across the Kingdom.”

The new route operates four times weekly from Washington, D.C., on a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner that features Royal Laurel Class, Premium Economy Class and Economy Class seating.

With the addition of Washington, D.C., EVA Air now serves 10 gateways across North America, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, New York, Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, Chicago, Vancouver and Toronto.
