Scenic Group Expands U.S. and Latin America Sales Team With Two Key Hires

Scenic Group is strengthening its U.S. and Latin America sales organization with the appointments of Marilyn Cairo as VP of Sales and Trade Relations and Nicole Shrem as Key and National Accounts Manager.

Sales Strategy Insight

Cairo brings more than 30 years of travel industry sales leadership experience to Scenic Group. Most recently, she served as VP of Sales for Classic Vacations, where she led national sales strategy and strengthened relationships with host agencies, consortia and travel advisors.

Her career also includes leadership roles with Sandals & Beaches Resorts, Karisma Hotels & Resorts, Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts and Margaritaville Island Reserve Resorts.

In her new role, Cairo will oversee Scenic Group’s U.S. and Latin American sales strategy, with a focus on expanding relationships with travel advisors, host agencies, consortia and other trade partners.

Focus on Key Accounts

Shrem joins Scenic Group from Royal Caribbean International, where she served as an account executive within the National Accounts department. She worked closely with key trade partners and was named the company’s 2025 Account Executive of the Year.

As key and national accounts manager, Shrem will focus on strengthening Scenic Group’s relationships with key and national account partners while supporting growth for both Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours and Emerald Cruises & Tours across the U.S. and Latin America.
