Carnival Adds New Dr. Seuss Experiences and Family Activities at Sea

Carnival Cruise Line is giving families even more reasons to have fun at sea with new onboard experiences inspired by Warner Bros. Pictures Animation’s The Cat in the Hat. Timed to the film’s Nov. 6 big-screen debut, the limited-time programming brings the beloved character aboard 23 Carnival ships while expanding the cruise line’s popular Seuss at Sea program.

Carnival Expands Its Seuss at Sea Program

Beyond the movie celebrations, Carnival is adding two interactive experiences to its Seuss at Sea lineup, which already includes the Seuss-a-palooza character parade and Story Time, Thing 1 & Thing 2 Birthday Breakfast and Dr. Seuss Bookville.

The new Seuss-a-palooza Game Time brings Dr. Seuss-inspired music, dancing, tongue twisters and games into the main theater, building excitement ahead of Seuss-a-palooza Story Time.

Meanwhile, Seuss-a-palooza Family Time gets the whole family involved with character-inspired movements, scenes from favorite books and Seuss-themed charades.

The additions give travel advisors more family-friendly entertainment to highlight when discussing Carnival vacations with clients, particularly those looking for activities that appeal to multiple generations.

Availability and scheduling for the experiences vary by ship and sailing.
