This 8-day Peace & Olives FAM will take travel advisors on an exploration of modern day Israel while following the footsteps of its past. You will tour Old & New Jerusalem, experience a Kibbutz and end it all in fashionable Tel Aviv. Guided tours by expert guides, all transportation, and excellent accommodations set the stage for an unforgettable experience.

On this trip, you’ll visit the top of Mt. of Olives, explore the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of the Agony, as well as visit the Israel Musuem’s Shrine of the Book with the famous Dead Sea Scrolls, and also visit the renovated model of Herodian City of Jerusalem. You’ll then head to Yad Vashem, the memorial to all the Jewish lives lost in the Holocaust.

The following day it’s off to explore the Jewish Quarter, the Western Wall, and the temple area with its colorful bazaars. You’ll also get to walk along the Via Dolorosa and the Stations of the Cross, which will end at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Next it’s off to Mt. Zion to visit the tomb of King David, the Room of the Last Supper, and Dormition Abbey. Then you’ll head to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity and view the Shepard’s Fields.

While in Nazareth, you’ll visit the Church of the Annunciation and the carpentry workshop of Joseph. Then it’s off to Safed, city of the Kabala, for a walk through of the mystic alleys, visit a synagogue, and the artist’s colony.

Then you’ll visit Mount of the Beatitudes, the ruins of the ancient synagogue and Peter’s house at Capernaum. Later, you’ll head to Tabgha, where Jesus’ miracle of multiplication took place.

In Haifa, you’ll go on a sightseeing tour of the city including the Baha’l Shrine, the Persian Garden, Mount Carmel, and Haifa Bay. Then, you’ll head to Caesarea to visit the ancient port, including the Roman Theater and the Hippodrome. Next, it’s a city tour of Tel Aviv. While in Tel Aviv, you’ll have a free day to explore, with the option of a tour of the Dead Sea for an additional $89 pp.
