The Londoner hotel is hosting a month-long Jubilee Summer Series in honor of Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee. The anniversary marks the Queen’s 70th year on the throne of Great Britain.
The Leicester Square hotel will host a variety of events to celebrate the Queen’s anniversary between now and June 12. Highlights include a Queer Queen’s Cabaret—a burlesque, comedy, and drag queen show—and special services like a Omorovicza Queen’s Jubilee Facial in The Retreat spa.
Afternoon tea at The Stage restaurant will get an overlay of royal elegance, too. Menu adds include the Sovereign’s Choice, a variation on the Queen’s favorite chocolate biscuit cake; and The Earl, a champagne cocktail crafted with Buckingham Palace gin and Earl Grey tea.
Bookings for The Londoner Presents The Jubilee Series will include a 2 percent bonus commission for travel advisors. The bonus will be awarded for suite reservations made now through May 30 for stays of seven nights or longer, now through Sept. 30. Packages include daily breakfast, a welcome glass of champagne, afternoon tea for two, and a pair of spa treatments.
The Londoner, part of the Edwardian Hotels London group, has 350 guestrooms and suites, six eateries and bars, and a ballroom for 850 guests. It is a member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts’ Legend Collection.
