Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection has announced the newest addition to its collection of cruise itineraries—India’s Golden Triangle & the Sacred Ganges—traveling from New Delhi to Kolkata and debuting in January 2016.

The 12-night voyage includes seven nights on board the new all-suite, 56-passenger Ganges Voyager II and a 5-night land portion with accommodations at The Oberoi in New Delhi, The Oberoi Amarvilas in Agra, and The Oberoi Rajvilas in Jaipur. On board the Ganges Voyager II, guests staying in a Viceroy Suite enjoy daily butler service, laundry service, and one complimentary spa treatment per person. Guests staying in the Maharaa Suite are treated to in-suite dining and scented baths in the deep-soaking tub.

The tour visits Delhi; the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World; the bazaars, fortresses, and palaces of Rajasthan’s Pink City of Jaipur; Mother Teresa’s tomb and her former home in Kolkata; and a Vedic temple in Mayapur; as well as five UNESCO World Heritage sites. Guests can opt for a 2-night extension to Varanasi, which includes a city tour, a scenic boat ride to view a Ganga Aarti fire ceremony at sunset, and a private boat ride along the river at sunrise. Bookings for the new India program will open on Oct. 15, 2014.
