Heritage Line Introduces Private Tours on Lower Mekong Cruises

Boutique river cruise operator Heritage Line, specializing in Southeast Asia, has launched new private onshore excursions for its Lower Mekong voyages aboard The Jahan and Jayavarman to complement the existing itineraries.

The private excursions are available on three cruise options. The 7-night Saigon to Siem Reap (or reverse) cruise includes ten private excursions and is priced at $720 per person based on two people. The 4-night Siem Reap to Phnom Penh (or reverse) cruise offers seven private excursions at $490 per person based on two people. The 3-night Saigon to Phnom Penh (or reverse) cruise features three private excursions at $230 per person based on two people. Solo travelers pay a 75 percent supplement for these private excursions.

Details of the Heritage Lines New Excursions

Key highlights of Heritage Line’s excursions in Vietnam include visits to Long Khanh Island’s traditional scarf-weaving community, Sa Dec’s local market, Madame Marguerite Duras’ home, Kien An Cung temple, and Cai Be’s rice workshop and tropical fruit farm. In Cambodia, guests can explore Kampong Cham’s Cheung Kok Village eco-tourism project and bamboo bridge, Angkor Ban’s traditional Khmer houses, stone carving, fabric dyeing, Koh Oknha Tey’s silk and cotton weaving villages, Kampong Chhnang’s pottery production and floating villages, and Phnom Penh with a choice of four half-day themed excursions.

These private tours are led by dedicated English-speaking guides, allowing your clients to explore independently. The excursions must be booked as a package, either in advance or onboard.
