Carnival Cruise Line is throwing a birthday party at sea in 2027 to mark 55 years of delivering cruise vacations. Carnival is cranking up the fun with 11 celebratory sailings featuring three ship meetups at sea. Think of it as a floating birthday bash where everyone gets cake, cocktails and a front-row seat to the fun.
In true Carnival spirit, these meetups will bring ships and their guests together near two exclusive destinations: Celebration Key and RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay. Imagine multiple Carnival ships rendezvousing on the open sea, with Lido deck parties, birthday-themed cocktails, a dessert buffet extravaganza and party games galore
Let’s Party
On March 9, 2027, the Celebration Key meetup includes four ships that will gather for an unforgettable bash:

- Carnival Elation (from Jacksonville on a 5-day cruise)
- Carnival Legend (from Tampa on a 6-day cruise)
- Carnival Freedom (from Port Canaveral on a 5-day cruise)
On March 10, 2027, the RelaxAway meetup brings three ships to Half Moon Cay:

- Carnival Pride (from Baltimore on a 7-day cruise)
And, finally, on March 13, 2027, the Celebration Key Meetup gathers five ships together for birthday fun:

- Carnival Sunrise (from Miami on a 4-day cruise)
- Carnival Conquest (from Miami on a 3-day cruise)
- Carnival Vista (from Port Canaveral on an 8-day journey)

Carnival has come a long way since its inaugural sailing from PortMiami in 1972 with just one ship. Today, the cruise line has 27 ships (soon to be 29 by 2025) and homeports across the country and in Australia. Looking ahead, Carnival is gearing up for a wave of growth, debuting an Excel-class ship in 2027 and adding four more ships by 2033.
