All international gateways, including V.C. Bird International Airport and the country’s major cruise and yacht ports, continue to operate normally with no disruptions. Regular flight and cruise schedules remain in effect, allowing travelers to move in and out of the destination with ease.
“Antigua and Barbuda is open for business, and we are delighted to welcome visitors as always with our signature hospitality, world-class beaches, rich culture, and exceptional service. Our tourism sector continues to operate normally, and travellers can plan their visits with complete confidence,” according to The Honourable H. Charles Fernandez, Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Transportation and Investment.
Tourism officials have reiterated that the country remains open to global visitors and that all existing agreements with airlines and tourism partners remain in effect. The government continues to coordinate closely with industry stakeholders to ensure a consistent visitor experience for both arriving and departing travelers.
Antigua and Barbuda’s tourism arrivals traditionally increase through the winter season, and this year is projected to follow that pattern. The islands, which tout having a beach for every day of the year, draw visitors for their coastline, sailing opportunities and plenty of marine recreation. Beyond the beaches, the twin-island nation offers a range of resort accommodations, cultural experiences tied to its colonial history, local dining options featuring seafood and Caribbean ingredients and year-round events that appeal to both leisure and group travelers.
