Explore Worldwide has opened applications for its inaugural FAM trip targeting North American professionals. The small group tour operator will host up to 10 participants for a 7-day Morocco experience from June 7-13, 2026.
“Launching our first North American familiarization trip is an exciting milestone for us,” said Aaron Fitzpatrick, Business Development Manager at Explore Worldwide, in a press statement. “It is an invaluable opportunity to showcase what makes the Explore’s style of group travel so distinctive. Whether advisors are new to the industry or seasoned pros, there is just no better way to understand the product than by seeing and experiencing it firsthand.”
Morocco With Explore Worldwide
Applications remain open through April 1, 2026, with initial selections announced April 7. Confirmed participants must respond by April 17, 2026. The company designed this first-time offering to demonstrate its small-group travel approach in one of its most popular destinations.
The Morocco itinerary covers diverse terrain and cultural experiences across seven days. Participants will explore Tighza’s rugged landscape and walk through the earthen passages of the UNESCO World Heritage site Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. The trip includes an overnight desert camping experience in the Sahara dunes.
Cultural immersion forms a central component of the experience. The group will meet local artisans in Tamgroute, known for their distinctive green pottery techniques passed down through generations. A guided culinary tour through Marrakech provides tastings of traditional dishes that define the city’s food culture.
Explore’s expert tour leaders will guide the entire experience, offering participants direct insight into the company’s approach to responsible travel. The trip structure mirrors typical client experiences, featuring multiple accommodation styles and trip formats that represent the operator’s standard offerings.
The FAM trip targets all accredited North American travel industry professionals. Explore Worldwide specializes in small-group experiences, typically limiting groups to ensure maximum personal attention and minimize environmental impact.
