Virgin Limited Edition is expanding its footprint in Morocco with the announcement of a new luxury hotel near Marrakech, marking the brand’s second property in the destination.

Set to open in phases beginning in 2027, the 37-suite boutique property will be developed on a private agricultural estate, created in partnership with Marrakech-based developer Sazanes Immobilier. Construction is already underway, with bookings expected to open in Sept. 2026.

Located just 25 minutes from central Marrakech, the new hotel is designed to offer a dual experience: proximity to the city’s souks, culinary scene and cultural landmarks, paired with the tranquility of a countryside retreat.

The property will also complement Kasbah Tamadot, Virgin Limited Edition’s existing Atlas Mountains retreat located about an hour away.

A Farm-Driven Luxury Experience

The new estate will be set within an organic farm featuring citrus orchards, olive groves and vegetable gardens. Plans call for three restaurants, a Chef’s Table and a speakeasy-style bar, all supplied with seasonal, home-grown ingredients.

Wellness will also be a key focus, with a traditional Moroccan spa including a hammam, a swimming pool and a range of sports and recreational activities such as tennis, padel and horse riding. Curated experiences will be central to the stay, offering guests opportunities to engage with Moroccan culture, craftsmanship and local traditions.

Designed with Sustainability and Culture in Mind

Sustainability and cultural authenticity are at the core of the project’s design. The property’s buildings will be integrated into the surrounding farmland, reflecting the region’s agricultural heritage while minimizing environmental impact.

Architecture and interiors will highlight locally sourced materials such as stone and wood, alongside artwork from Moroccan and African artists. The first 22 suites are expected to debut in early 2027, with the remaining suites available in early 2028.
