Launching in June, guests can now experience direct flights between the camps to celebrate the reopening of Mahali Mzuri after its full refurbishment and Finch Hattons’ debut in the Virgin Limited Edition portfolio.
Safari Glamping with Virgin
Exclusively available during high season, this new offering allows travelers to fly between the two luxury safari camps in just over an hour with Safari Link or Fly ALS. Advisors can now package a seamless itinerary that combines the thrill of the Great Migration in the Maasai Mara with the dramatic landscapes of Tsavo West—home to East Africa’s largest population of red elephants and iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Guests staying a minimum of four nights at either camp will receive an additional complimentary night at the same property.
Mahali Mzuri, a 12-tent camp in the Olare Motorogi Conservancy, is known for Big Five sightings and front-row views of the Great Wildebeest Migration. Finch Hattons features 17 tented suites and offers access to the Shetani Lava Flow, rhino sanctuary hikes and the Chyulu Hills.
Cultural experiences also enrich the stay, with opportunities to visit local Maasai and Kamba communities or support the Mahali Mzuri primary school. At both camps, guests can try spear-throwing, participate in Maasai warrior training or float above the savanna in a hot air balloon.
Relaxation is just as central, with the Chyulu Spa at Finch Hattons—the largest bush spa in East Africa—and Mahali Mzuri’s infinity pool overlooking the valley.
