Get your rosters out, and start e-mailing all the single travelers on your radar for this singles’ cruise with Uniworld.
Solo vacation planner Travel.Fun invites single travelers to join them, and solo travel expert Shelby Frenette in Europe July 2020 for the first full ship singles river cruise takeover. In partnership with U River Cruises, Travel.Fun will host two 7-night excursions beginning July 17 along the Rhine River.
According to Frenette, there is a large and growing audience for travel experiences aimed exclusively at single adults. She cites U.S. Census data that estimates more than 110 million residents divorced, widowed or as having always been single; that’s more than 45 percent of all adult Americans. She believes many singles long for fun and like-minded companionship when they travel and is confident traveling with a group of other passionate singles is infinitely more enjoyable then traveling completely alone. “Not only does it provide an element of safety, it offers the glorious opportunity to share an adventure with another person,” says Frenetic in press material. “When you nudge a new pal’s elbow and say, ’Wow, isn’t that amazing?’ a special bond is forged, enhancing the experience for both travelers.’”
“U’s sexy chic ships, vibrant onboard environment that encourages fun and social connections and offers longer stays in port to discover European nightlife, is exactly the informal and fun setting we set out to offer our singles,” says Frenette in press material.
Travel.Fun will offer two sailings, July 17-24 from Frankfurt to Amsterdam and July 24-31 from Amsterdam to Brussels. Both sailings are led by Shelby Frenette and include three daily meals, select shore excursions, complimentary WiFi, onboard local U hosts, complimentary happy hour party daily, onboard gratuities and other popular activities such as mixology classes, silent discos, themed nights, a local DJ, paint and wine classes, and rooftop yoga. Rates start at $2,499 and space is limited.
