Saint Kitts and Nevis recently launched a new Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) system, which will modernize entry procedures for visitors while enhancing security measures. The eTA will be mandatory for all visitors before departing their country of origin and upon arrival in Saint Kitts and Nevis.
Efficient Entry to Saint Kitts and Nevis
The most efficient way to complete the eTA is through the St. Kitts and Nevis e-Border mobile app, which is now available for both Android and iOS devices. Alternatively, travelers can use the website www.knatravelform.kn. The process takes approximately five minutes and involves completing a secure online application, providing basic travel details and receiving electronic approval before travel.
Applications can be submitted up to 90 days before travel. Until Sept. 1, 2025, a discounted service charge of $8.50 applies. After this date, the standard charge will be $17. The eTA remains valid for 90 days or until passport expiration, whichever comes first.

Citizens and residents of Saint Kitts and Nevis, as well as citizens of Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) member states, don’t need to apply for an eTA. However, they must complete the Online Immigration and Customs ED Form free of charge via the mobile app or website.
Several groups are exempt from the eTA service charge, including citizens/residents of Saint Kitts and Nevis, OECS Member States and Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Member Nations. Special exemptions apply to accredited diplomats on official duty, children under 2 years old, in-transit passengers, on-duty flight or vessel crew members and active military or search-and-rescue personnel.
