Walt Disney World Resort is making a splash this spring as Blizzard Beach Water Park celebrates its 30th anniversary with limited-time events, entertainment and exclusive offerings.

Special Day at Blizzard Beach
On April 1, Blizzard Beach will mark its milestone with a live DJ, special meet & greets with Disney characters dressed in winter attire and exclusive digital photo frames to capture the magic of the day. Throughout the month, guests can enjoy anniversary-themed dance parties, interactive games, temporary 30th-anniversary tattoos and specialty food and beverage options—all celebrating three decades of splashing fun.
As Blizzard Beach’s season winds down, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon will reopen on May 1, welcoming guests back to its tropical island oasis. This fan-favorite water park, shaped by the legend of a mighty typhoon, features water attractions, a massive wave pool and a unique island-themed atmosphere—perfect for cooling off under the Florida sun.
In 2025, guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel can enjoy complimentary water park admission on their check-in day, adding even more value to their stay. The park will close for refurbishment at the end of operations on April 30, 2025.
