Island Routes Restores Tours in Jamaica

Island Routes is bringing many of its signature Jamaica adventures back online, with several top experiences now open and more slated to return in the coming days. The company reports that it continues to work closely with partners across the island to ensure every tour meets its standards for safety, service and guest satisfaction.

“We are proud of our team and partners across Jamaica who have worked tirelessly to bring our operations back safely,” said Ryan Terrier, CEO of Island Routes, in a media statement. “The strength and resilience of Jamaica is unmatched. As our experiences come back online, each guest who returns plays a real role in keeping Jamaica’s spirit thriving, all while enjoying the authentic, one-of-a-kind adventures that define us.”

Tours Return to Jamaica

For travel advisors booking winter and early 2026 getaways, several cornerstone Island Routes products are returning quickly.

Powerboat and catamaran sailings—among the brand’s most in-demand experiences—are expected to be fully operational in Negril and Ocho Rios by Dec. 6. MINI-Routes “Drive Your Own” Adventures are also anticipated to relaunch by that date, once again giving guests the chance to explore Jamaica behind the wheel with a professional guide.

Select ATV and river adventures have resumed on designated days across the island, with some routes adjusted to ensure the best guest experience. The company anticipates a full return of its hallmark land and sea tours as conditions continue to stabilize.

In Ocho Rios, major attractions such as Mystic Mountain and Dunn’s River Falls are welcoming visitors again, offering a complete slate of activities for clients staying in the region. Several animal encounter experiences are also reopening on a phased schedule. Additional returning options include the Bob Marley culture tours and the Main Street Rose Hall shopping experience.
