Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana Brings Wellness-Focused Design to DR

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana has opened along the Cabeza de Toro coastline, marking the first Dominican Republic property for Hyatt Hotels Corporation’s Hyatt Vivid Hotels & Resorts brand. The adults-only all-inclusive resort has 467 guestrooms and suites and expands Hyatt’s all-inclusive presence in Punta Cana.

“The opening of Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana reflects both the continued strength of the Dominican Republic as one of the world’s premier leisure destinations and our long-term commitment to growing alongside it. We’re grateful to Grupo Anacaona for their trust in bringing the Hyatt Vivid brand to life in this important market. With 30 resorts and more than 16,000 rooms already in the Hyatt Inclusive Collection across the country, this opening further strengthens Hyatt’s leadership in all-inclusive hospitality while introducing a differentiated resort experience designed for guests seeking a more relaxed, flexible and socially connected way to travel,” said Javier Aguila, President, Hyatt Inclusive Collection, in a press statement.

Wellness and cultural programming runs through the resort’s daily schedule. Zenda Spa anchors the wellness offering with treatments drawn from Dominican botanicals, as well as padel and pickleball courts, functional training areas and yoga sessions. Signature activities include Wave Hello to Wellness, a paddleboard yoga and nutrition session on the Caribbean Sea; Wellness Brew Sessions, pairing Dominican coffee with live DJ sets; and the Dominican Ritual Collection at Zenda Spa, built around locally sourced cacao and tropical fruit. Cultural offerings include Paint Your Way In, a workshop granting access to the resort’s speakeasy; the Dominican Art Mural; the Local Tuk Tuk Moment photo experience; and Starry Night stargazing sessions under Punta Cana’s skies.

The property joins Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection portfolio of more than 150 resorts and nearly 58,000 rooms across Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe. Two more Dominican Republic openings are planned within the collection: Secrets Macao Beach Punta Cana in 2026 and Hyatt Ziva Punta Cana in 2029. World of Hyatt members can earn 500 bonus points for qualifying stays at Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana under the brand’s New Hotels Bonus offer.
