The only hotel property on the 2-mile-long, palm-fringed, Caribbean-facing Malabar Beach on the island of Saint Lucia, StolenTime is an all-inclusive, adults-only wellness resort. Managed by Sunswept Resorts and therefore a sister-property to the famed BodyHoliday, StolenTime has 100 guestrooms (beachfront, pool or garden views), an onsite spa (one of only two Ayurvedic centers in Saint Lucia), four F&B outlets, a fitness center, tropical gardens and secluded poolside nooks.
Armin Asceric, Corporate Director, Sales & Marketing for Sunswept Resorts, says “StolenTime is a retreat holiday that takes a unique approach to wellness. Here, guests can press pause on time, reset the clock that always seems to be running away, and discover a new way of making the seconds count.”
Guest profile is adults focused on, according to the StolenTime team, “mental and emotional wellbeing” with wellness intentions built around a general reboot and overall rest and relaxation. The resort, however, also caters to solo travelers offering room rates without an added single supplement surcharge.
Asceric says, StolenTime allows guests to disconnect from the world in whatever way best suits each guest. Individual programs, can be arranged with each guest by StolenTimes’ pre-arrival team, and can be customized to suit clients’ needs. They can choose from a variety of activities to create their own self-guided program, and there is certainly no dearth of activities to choose from. Guests can fill their personalized programs with everything from chocolate-making classes, golf lessons and tai chi, yoga and Pilates sessions, to numerous water activities, including kayaking, paddleboarding. And if relaxing spa treatments are the primary focus, the newly introduced Living West Indies Facials are available on a complimentary basis once during each stay as part of the Indulge in Wellbeing package, which includes a daily spa treatment.
One popular authentic experience available to guests is the Farm to Table Tour guided by one of StolenTime’s chefs and featuring shopping at the local market for fresh herbs and spices to prepare each participating guest’s meal of choice.
Adventure Awaits at StolenTime
And for guests looking for a more physically-focused local adventure, there’s hiking the “bucket list” Gros Piton—a natural wonder on Saint Lucia. For those in search of coral adventures, the resort’s PADI-certified dive school for both certified and beginner divers is included in the price, as are daily tank dives for certified divers.
Throughout the year, there are also themed months. For instance, Jive June offers an entire month dedicated to dance, featuring a wide variety of dance classes from African and aqua dance to merengue, reggae, salsa and others. The program also features dance classes led by several guest presenters. Summer Solos, the themed program running July 1 to Sept. 6 and specifically targeted to the solo traveler, offers such activities and entertainment as communal tables for every dinner, daily group yoga, weekly group hikes, cruises, cooking classes and so much more. A minimum booking of three nights is required.
On a final note, Asceric says, “Although StolenTime is a different kind of time-away experience, it is still a holiday at heart with the chance to live life in the moment and have memories that stay with you for a lifetime.”
